Barcelona aerial tram over Port Vell

Barcelona seems to be a city built for travellers since it offers many ways of exploring its beautiful attractions.
One of the best ways of getting a panoramic view of the city is by using the Port Vell aerial tramway. This spectacular way of transport also provides a quick pass from the Montijuc neighbourhood to the beach of Barceloneta.
First opened in 1931 the aerial tram wasn't always a successful enterprise in Barcelona, only after the year 2000, with the explosion of mass tourism and teh redevelopment of Port Vell it got popular.
